Looking for employment driving trucksWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a truck driving job. What nationality are you? U.S.A. Citizen is my nationality. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English is the language that I speak & I speak it well. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? The area I am looking for employment in is Afghanistan.The first reason why I want to work there is because I want to help support our troops & citizens. The second is I need money to send my son to college. What countries have you worked in? The countries I have worked in are, U,S.A., S. Korea,&(W.)Germany. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have a passport,however I have no visas. If I needed to apply for a visa I do not see any problems in obtaining one, as long as I have a reason for getting it. What field do you currently work in? The field that I am currently working in is commercial driving. I deliver propane in 2,600 gallon bob-tail truck. What fields have you worked in before? I managed a 25 acre orchard,U.S. Army Heavy Combat Tank Crewman,C.E.O. of my small business, Storekeeper (/Warehouse & Support)for Yolo County Social Services, Deliv. Driver, Integrative Healing Therapy,& worked installing industrial & commercial Landscaping. What qualifications do you hold? The qualifications that I hold are, class A Commercial Driver license with air-break, HAZMAT.,tank, trailer,passanger & motorcycle endorsements. An A.A. College Degree,U.S. Army Armor Specialist & N.C.O. Academy training, C.M.P.,Forklift Cert.&I.W.R.C. certified for wild-life rescue. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Which do I consider is more valuable, formal education or skills. I would have to say skills. Formal education opens up your mind to learn new things, however hands on is the best. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits working with others are more people gets more work accomplished, with a group there are more ideas for creative solutions to problems & hopefully less fatigue & burn-out when working. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits of working alone are satisfaction when finishing a hard task & knowing that a job has been done right. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience was only being 1.5 feet away when a fully combat loaded M-48-A5 Hvy. Cmbt. Tank blew-up. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The most important thing I have learnt while working, is to slow down enough to do my work safely. What unique skills do you have? Some of my unique skills are wild-life rehab., beer making & training Tank Crews how to engage & destroy targets quicker. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would making a living as a gentleman farmer. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspects of my job are, not knowing where I am going or what I will be doing at the start of my day. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least interesting aspects of my job are, out of gas calls & all of the paperwork that comes with everything I do.
