Job search

What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for the job of a Background Investigator.

What nationality are you?

I am a Gambian.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak fluent English.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I wish to work in any English speaking country in Africa. This is because I feel that there is a lot to be done in Africa, and as a n African I believe in the old adage that charity begins at home.

What countries have you worked in?

I've worked in The Gambia and Liberia respectively.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I do not have any Visa for any country as at now.

What field do you currently work in?

I am currently unemployed, but my last field of work was in Liberia with DynCorp International (Security Sector Reform) as a Background Investigator.

What fields have you worked in before?

I've worked in the Teaching Field as a class teacher, the Police Force and with the United Nations as UNPOL.

What qualifications do you hold?

I am a Security agent by proffession.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider both to be equally valuable. My reason being that the two compliment each other.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others enhances diversity and promotes competitiveness.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone gives you a very relaxed atmosphere.

What was your worst working experience?

My worst working experience was when I first attended a post-mortem examination.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

The most important lesson I've learnt throughout my career is that one has to be honest, hardworking and dedicated to duties.

What unique skills do you have?

Interview skills and driving skills.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Becoming a Program Manager.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The most interesting aspect of my firld is conducting interviews and report writing.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The least interesting aspects of my field is typing.
