I have been in sales and marketing for red bull energy drink before I joined the hospitality industry. What qualifications do you hold? I have a diploma in hotel management from DIMA college and have attended a few refresher courses at UTALII college and also a certificate in information technology. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I would categorize all my achievements as all valuables since knowledge gained is not lost. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience is when I once took a wrong order for an item which was missing in the stock and forgot to inform the guest about it only to go back after about 25 minutes which entitled me to 7 days suspension an d a warning letter in my 9 years career. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt to be the best at what I do. Be smart in every way and also accept defeat since it makes you to be a perfectionist and also go beyond the extra mile. What unique skills do you have? Am willing to make you smile after a rough day since its the best you can offer anyone after a rough day. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job is to one day be a CEO in an airline industry. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspects in my life are when I see a client leaving with a smile on his or her face and pat myself for a job well done when he calls my name the next time he comes back which to me and the organization means recognition.
