| The Alaska Report February 2010 In February 2010, US Senator Mark Begich hosted the Alaska Report. In this episode, Sen. Begich interviewed representatives from the US Department of Commerce and the 2010 Census. Joining Sen. Begich from the Department of Commerce was Policy Director Travis Sullivan. His participation in the program followed a trip to Anchorage by Commerce Secretary Gary Locke. Mr. Sullivan discussed the role of the Commerce Department in Alaska, efforts to create jobs through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and the potential for Congress to pass a Jobs Bill. To discuss the 2010 Census, Sen. Begich hosted Raul Cisneros, the Chief of the Census Publicity Office. Mr. Cisneros shared the importance of the census and dispelled common misconceptions about it.
