| Answers: Would you be able to do what Chris from "Into the Wild" did? That is, leave everything behind - family, friends, degree you got in college - burn your IDs, your money, leave behind your car to find yourself, to resettle your mind. Hitchhike to Alaska during the summer and live there, while staying at random peoples' homes, doing random jobs, learning about different people, experiencing the beauty America has to offer? Would you do it? I didn't mention the part of him dying because that's not what he said out to do. He never set out to die in that manner. What I'm asking is would you go out and isolate yourself, really cut yourself off from society for awhile and get absorbed into nature. I wouldn't call him self-absorbed, I'd call him a man with problems and one who was inconsiderate. |
