What field do you currently work in? I AM CURRENTLY WORK AS IT PRINCIPAL FOR THE ELECTORAL OFFICE. I AM INVOLVED IN MANAGEMENT MEETINGS, MANAGING THE TEAM AND EVERYDAY DUTIES, COMMUNICATING WITH OTHERS IN THE PRINCIPAL LEVEL FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE MINISTRY...ETC. What fields have you worked in before? I START WORKING AT SAMOATEL SINCE 2001 AS IT TECH, THEN IN 2002 AS IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR AND LATER PROMOTED TO IT SERVICE DELIVERY TEAM LEADER. WHEN I MOVE TO THE OFFICE OF THE ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER FOR THE POSITION THAT I'M CURRENTLY HOLDING (PRINCIPAL IT OFFICER). What qualifications do you hold? Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science Information Technology Essential-1 Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? For me personally I should be good on both, education and skills. The reason is because education will give you the strenth to study hard and become a smart person. Education can also makes you a knowledgeable person in both theory and practical, when afterward you became a skillful person. What this all mean is that you want to be a smart person from skul, have a degree and find a job to get skills. when I was in skul I study hard to became a smart person when later I graduate and got a job and have some skills. Describe the benefits of working with others Its good to work with others to learn from, to share with them, to improve my skills, to stand together and help each other. Describe the benefits of working alone I can focus in 100% to my work, I can quiet, I can spend some time to pray without noise, I can confess myself to put the whole time to work rather than talking and sharing with others. What was your worst working experience? The relationship between working colleagues. It is good to see everyone is working together and be as a team or family but not as friend. Be as a friend is bad to me, because you can 100% for the other and 50% for the other. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Be a IT personel is not that easy, you always get caught by problems when have a fault either internet, processing system, computer system etc..what I mean about is that you should always be prepared and be active when you experience a fault with one of what I have mentioned. You need to keep study and read through everything you need to know and understand, so when its comes to you and you already have the answer. What unique skills do you have? - Fixing and troubleshooting computer faults - Troubleshooting network problems - Installtion and Configuration of computer OPS - Internet and email administration - more and more What would you consider as your 'dream job'? IT Manager/General Manager IT/ IT Director/ What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Chalenges that push me to learn and keep on learning. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? It gives me more interesting to work hard in IT and look forward to became a Director in the Future. What is your future plan I wish that my life is getting longer, so that I can still alive and raise my kids to have a better future.
