Formal education or skills and why? skills because it is actual experience that you can draw from to make decisions. Describe the benefits of working with others Meting new people and having professional and personal relationships with them. Pleasing customers and having a client base that trusts your knowledge and judgement. Describe the benefits of working alone getting the job done quickly without having to rely on someone else to do it correctly. What was your worst working experience? When I was a Head clerk, in 1997 I refused the sale of alcohol to a customer that was using a fake I.D. the manager who was above me at the time accepted the I.D. without even looking at it. It made me appear to the customer like my authority did not matter and I did not appreciate that. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To always listen to everyone who has an opinion regardless of whether I feel their opinion is worth listening to or not. Also to always think an action through before I act. What unique skills do you have? I have excellent People skills and I am a leader. I am very motivational and a quick learner. I have countless training in diversity, inclusion, and all aspects of running a retail grocery store. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would like to have a career that gives me the flexibility to be a mother and wife but also challenges me both mentally and physically. I want to feel like I accomplish something daily and acquire the respect of others.
