english, portuguese speaker and english writer
I am from software background, settled in Angola with my husband.Here I don see much scope in software testing nad quality and over it langugae was a barrier initially. so I spent some time learning langugae and now want to do job in some prestigious firm like NGO sector; b's I find that there is good scope in it and its really good for me to start a new exciting career if my my skills are worthy here. What nationality are you? I am an Indian. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak English fluently Portuguese (not as fluent as in English) but i have enough words in my vocabulary to have smooth conversation. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I want to work in Angola beacause I stay with my husband here. my skills are: fluent English speaker. read, write and understand Portuguese. good presentation skills. flair for learning new foreign languages. good writer. As I cant find job according to my previous experience in Angola;but I can see good scope in NGOs; so I want to work in an area which is compatible to my skills in NGO. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in India as a software quality assurance engineer for four years. Earlier I was working in software industry, but after getting married I shifted to Angola and due to the lack of opportunity in my own field; Presently I am a housewife and keep myself occupied in writing. I have written contents for 4 websites from my Indian client. I am also writing a book for Portuguese learners. What fields have you worked in before? Software Quality Assurance. What qualifications do you hold? i have MCA(Masters in Conputers Application) degree. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Practically both are important, if our formal education and skills both are compatible with each other; that really works wonders and helps us find job easily. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others always gives us enjoyment, a feeling of togetherness and a kind of social bonding. It invokes the team spirit. Describe the benefits of working alone As every coin has two sides so working alone also has some positive points as: we are our own boss and tend to become independent, decisive, more responsible . Also we learn to become more disciplined and learn time management skills. What was your worst working experience? not yet What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? throughout my career i have been learning to understand the value of time, being knowledgeable, to be self confident and a right decision maker at right time. What unique skills do you have? i think i have impaccable communication skills, presentation skills, writing skills and flair for learning foreign languages. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job is to help people develop their minds by making them understand values of different languages and cultures, develop their self-confidence and personality with good presentation and communication skills and write my heart out to the world. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? when i was working- the more I worked; the more I became knowledgeable and found new challenges, i kept analysing my hidden talents like leadership quality, presentation, convincing others on my point. as presently I am not working but engaged in writing so the more I read and write the more I analyse myself. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? sometimes that field was a bit boring as we had to keep sitting on computers all the time and less bonding of colleagues .
