Both. Formal education comes with discipline and helps create work ethic.On the other hand, skilled manpower is the backbone of any idustry that seeks to compete effectively in today's age.

It's a useful form of socialisation. Team building and participation activities help to mould character. The others teach you and they also learn from you.

Limited interruptions means that work can get done faster.

Being denied use of computer labs to gain requisite experience
