What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a full time job as a Chef/Cook

What nationality are you?

American

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Spanish/ street level

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Antartica. I would love the challenge of working in a remote location and the experience alone would be rewarding.

What field do you currently work in?

Hospitality

What fields have you worked in before?

Military, transportation, food and beverage and hospitality

What qualifications do you hold?

Degree in Education (B.S.) Associates in culinary

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Although I have a college education over the years I have found thqat skills in the culinary field are more advantageous to this area.

Describe the benefits of working with others

working with others is always rewarding and administers a type of comradery that can only be found through interaction with people from all walks of life. It is refreshing and as I have said rewarding in itself.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone seems to me to help develop a discipline that you usually cannot create or find through other ventures. it teaches how to grow physically and mentally.

What was your worst working experience?

Construction and demolition as a young man in high school. Dirty and filthy and dangerous.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Dedication to the employer and giving of oneself.

What unique skills do you have?

I consider myself a very good Chef and I have learned to be a people person dealing with the public.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Owning my own restaurant!!!!!!!!

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Creativity and the fullfillment of watching people really enjoying my creativity.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Doing Inventory and work schedules.

If you were to recieve a job for Antartica would you be able to sustain the remote location?

I love to read( I am a bit of a bibliophile )and I love to write songs for acoustic guitar and I am a advid chess player. So self entertainment is never a problem.
