Antatrctica I've worked in the Arctic for 16 years. It has provided me with unique experiences and challenges. Now I would like to try the oter end. What countries have you worked in? Canada What field do you currently work in? Food Service (Chef) What qualifications do you hold? 25 years experince in the field. 20 as Head Chef Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education offers a good base to begin a career but I believe that practical experince in a chosen field is a more valuable asset, as what was learned in formal training is put to the test and the actual experience becomes the real teaching tool. Describe the benefits of working with others Gaining and sharing knowledge Describe the benefits of working alone Test your organizational skills, provides a sense of independance and accomplishment What was your worst working experience? Working in a filthy kitchen with co workers that showed no concern for food safety, customer satisfaction or reputation. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? No matter the task you are performing execute it to the best of your ability. What unique skills do you have? My only uniqueness would be that I am an exceptionally hard worker and devote myself to acheiving the goals of my job and my employer What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Challenging work, good wage, appreciative employer. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? As a cook one never, ever stops learning.
