What type of job are you looking for?

I want to travel to far corner of the world.A place that few people have ever been to,but a need for people to be there. Hourly work,hospitality,telcom.,weather station, argriculture.A job for a person who doesn't have a college degree but has lifetime skills.Like a caretaker for camp or station or even ship not on duty.

English high

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Antarctica or any remote part of the world

What countries have you worked in?

USA and Iraq

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

none right now

What field do you currently work in?

rail defect inspection

What fields have you worked in before?

Labor foreman for US army bases in Iraq.Highway maintence work.Martine work as merchant marine deckcrew on US Navy ships.Deckhand and tankerman on US tugboats.Owned and work on pleasure boats both power and sail. Handy man in all things around homes and property. Truck driver.

What qualifications do you hold?

Shipboard handling skills, firefigthing.US CDL lic. class A

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Since I don't have a formal education,but do have some college. I will say skills thats how you get thru life.Formal education teaches what in a book.

A person can always learn from another if they are willing to listen.

A pride in yourself for doing a job with no help from others.

What was your worst working experience?

Being the new guy on the job and not knowing all the ins and outs until you learn them.

Pay attention to the rules.Do the right thing all the time.

I'm a person who can be alone.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

caretaker for a remote estate. Lighthouse keeper.Something that I could do that helps others.

rail safety
