I need a challenge

What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for any type of job that will challenge me both physically and mentaly. I am technically minded, good with my hands and in good physical shape.

What nationality are you?

British

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English fluently

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Antarctica - because i want to do and see something thats completley different to my normal life. Africa - again to expereince a different world.

What countries have you worked in?

Just England

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

england and EU

What field do you currently work in?

currently work in retail but willing to train and work hard in any engineering or construction field.

What fields have you worked in before?

Aerial installations, retail and cleaning.

What qualifications do you hold?

11 Gcse's including higher grades at english, maths and DT electronics.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

education because it makes it easier to train and lear new things in the future.

Describe the benefits of working with others

you can adapt a good team ethic and work together to acieve a goal. you can also use and gain knowledge from other peoples strengths and experiences.

Describe the benefits of working alone

you can work at your own pace and to your own skills without interference.

What was your worst working experience?

Trying to install an aerial on a house on a windy day. i was fully strapped and supported but felt uncomfortable and had to cancel the install much to the annoyance of the customer. But safety first.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Its better to ask for help from someone than trying to do things on your own to impress. If you dont understand something then tell someone.

What unique skills do you have?

I am currently a supervisor for a big reatailer. Because of this my customer service skills are second to none as are my organisational skills. I am also a great team player and always try to build team morale.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Electrician because it has a sense of danger and brings together both physical and mental challenges everyday. I have all the skills neccessary but have never been given the chance.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

being approachable and handling very varied complaints from the general public on a daily basis.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

working indoors all day everyday.

What do you feel you can bring to the team?

The hard work, commitment, drive and enthusiasm to get jobs done to the highest standards.
