Antigua and Barbuda I have taught in Jamaica for 11 years and it was good and now I am teaching in Turks and Caicos for the past four years which was an lovely opportunity. I have learnt of their culture and now I would like to learn of another culture and share my experiences with others. What countries have you worked in? Jamaica and Turks and Caicos What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have an American visa and my Canadian Visa was just expired which I am going to re-new. What field do you currently work in? Teaching- Electrical/ Electronics Technology What fields have you worked in before? Just teaching What qualifications do you hold? I hold a Honours degree in Education Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both but I prefer skill since I am more a skill person and I believe with a skill you have more options. Describe the benefits of working with others I have acquire much of their knowledge which has improve my knowledge. Describe the benefits of working alone You get to put new things that you consider beneficial in place. What was your worst working experience? Students having the ability to achieve and not wanting to get an education. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Different countries have different style of doing things that makes things and the learning unique. Students and parents need a lot of motivation and encouragement as to what is important in life. What unique skills do you have? i am able to wire a building maybe not all by myself but with some additional man power. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To teach students who really has a desire for knowledge. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Wiring a building What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
