What qualifications do you hold? A graduate degree in Civil engineering from Kerala University. I am a Fellow of Institution of Engineers, India Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skill, as formal education is a stepping stone. We refine our capabilities with experience and wisdom. Skill is related to your aptitude. Describe the benefits of working with others Problem solving can be better done with a group rather than alone. when achievements are made the with a group, the fellowship feelings are great. The chances for making mistakes are low. Team spirit make every one happy. Describe the benefits of working alone In certain type of jobs working alone may be good. Making a proposal on a project, studies done on ones own interest, taking readings and notes, and when the pro and anti opinions are equal. What was your worst working experience? Working in mine, almost two kilometers down, when for a brief period I have undone the safety chain from my belt, to check the site problem, I slipped and fell into a deep hole; to be rescued by a safety team later. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never assume that "I" know every thing and others know nothing. We can gain a lot if the mind is kept open and unbiased. What unique skills do you have? Problem solving related to construction. Locating positive trends and injustice among the group. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To do an eco friendly project which is self sustainable What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Creating facilities for the fellow beings and also for the future generations. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? After the completion of a construction project you are treated as nobody. What are your Hobbies?
