seeking employment as a nurseWhat type of job are you looking for? hello. i am looking for a nursing job that is covers all genres of the nursing field,one that allows me to exercise my proffesional skills but one that is beneficiel to my patient at the same time. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? don't worry i am fluent in both written and spoken English.[Though my spelling my need work] What State are you looking to work in and why? I am very flexable i really don't mind what state.We Africans are like that. What field do you currently work in? I am in the general surgery field at the moment.Love it. What fields have you worked in before? Well lets see... Orthopaedics neurology traumatology need i say more... What qualifications do you hold? Diploma in General Nursing Certificate in HIV/AIDS Counselling Certificate in Basic life Support Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I would say both hold equal merit one can't sustain without the other.however formal education forms the basis of skills.Education breeds knowledge,knowledge breeds power,the power to become highly skilled in one's proffesion. Describe the benefits of working with others It's allows for the sharing of ideas ,knowledge and skills. Describe the benefits of working alone It allows for independance and growth as an individual.you are accountable for your own actions.it's so rewarding... What was your worst working experience? Honestly i really can't say i've had one.well once when i was a student nurse a sister yelled at me in front of some patients for incorrectly putting up an I.V.I. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? No matter how depressing a situation is God always leaves room for hope. What unique skills do you have? Wow...Where do i begin...I'm kidding Im not at all unique but people call me a good listener. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? One where i can't wait to go to work everyday. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? It's so unbelievably diverse.Your in contact with a different client with a different condition nearly every day.Treatment protocols are individualised according to the patients needs.
