Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Syney University of Technology and was a Chartered member of the Australian Institution of Engineers Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Developed skills ultimately are more valuable than a degree or diploma because skills are the actual outworking of acquired knowledge and experinece which one applies in his work daily. Describe the benefits of working with others "As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens man". Humans have always achieved more working together as a body than as an isolated individual. The same goes for corporate organisations Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone allows the individual greater scope to develop one creative capacities. Hense,most great artists work individually. However the output rate is not high What was your worst working experience? Working experiences are sometimes good to very good with an occassional bad one, however my personal outlook allows me to enjoy most work I am engaged in. I find good in almost every situation. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Close attetion to details pays huge dividends, hense I apply a great deal of attention and energy macking sure that small details are given due consideration. What unique skills do you have? I have a very good grasp of engineering concepts which allows me to apply the best practices under difficult situations What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I have been preparing and arranging my affairs to work in Mongolia for a number of years now and obtaining a worthwhile opportunity to contribute to any company working in Mongolia would constitute a "dream job" for me. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Applying the latest methodologies to an task has always provided enormous satisfaction for me. This is what keep my interest high. Hense I keep abreast of the latest technology and methods by reviewing the internet for better ways of doing routine activities or adopting new methods to new demands. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? See above how long do you want to work in Mongolia? I am looking for a long term position years rather than months. having lived in Mongolia previously I am well used to the people, the climate, the food and the living conditions and the isolation that can overwhelm some people. With ausstralia being about 6 times large the distances in mongolia are not as daunting for me as they may be for others.
