I am looking to work in Azerbaijan as i see i can grow due to the oil and gas that is produced or anyywhere hear this area. What countries have you worked in? I work as a third party welding inspector and a tutor explaning engineers and engineering students online the principles of welding inspection. What fields have you worked in before? I worked as a Claims clark in the Insurance industry and 6 months in the Advertising industry What qualifications do you hold? I have a diploma in Advertising (2year qualified as a art director) Certtified welder 6G in mig,tig,gas,fluxcore and smaw Certified level 2 welding inspector CSWIp 3.1 Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider my skills are valuble as i appplied them during the years in my areas of work and have benefitted me in the fullest way possible but it was due to my education as both go together hand in hand and i will continue to study further as it will be added to my exsisting skills making me stronger in character and in overall a better person in my field of expertise Describe the benefits of working with others There are a lot of advantages because in my experience teamwork benefited to me by -decision making power is increased ie.brainstorming and coming to a solid solution ,participation of each member ie. when one team member works with another ,his efforts can get an additional boost by getting ideas,distiribution of team work can also make a lot of work get done as one person doing the job,Various ideas are being used as all members have there own ideas,satisfaction ie. a lot of people being satisfied can spill over a company making that company effecient,speed ie.the amount of work getting done in a short time and lastly there must be a good leader to lead them and harness there capabilities to the fullest way possible. Describe the benefits of working alone Well in my experiencwe of working alone i benefitied from rapid decision making,no distractions,no potential annoyances,working standard can be high as you set yourself hi goals due to perfection,no office politics and at the end whatever decision you make you reap from the benefits. What was your worst working experience? Whatever experiences i came across in which i had difficulty i use its weakness and turn it around into a positive by either finding guidance by another collegue on how to better myself or doing a course .therfore i see a worst working experience as a simple lesson learnt in life on how to better yourself.In life there will always be lessons till the day you die and the trick is to take whatever rock comes in your way and get it out of the way in the best possible manner. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Well apart from being perserverant ,punctual,good mannered and a good listener ,iv learned that integrity and character is very important because by applying myslelf im achieving my goals and still moving forward What unique skills do you have? Apart from administration and creative skills I have knowledge of welding codes BS EN, AWS, WPQ,WQR, WPS and welding skills.outstanding problem solving skills and reasoning abillity,organisation and co-ordination are extremely strong assets,excellent comunication and organizational skills,Ability to lead ,team player and hard worker and abillity to manage and learn fast. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would be working as a welding inspector/management or project manager with a well established company What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Seeing how something that started from scratch developed into something sound and good workmanship What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
