I have worked only in India, my home country What field do you currently work in? I work as an associate dental surgeon, focussing more on maxillofacial surgeries in particular. I am in the post of a senior surgical assist and be a member of the primary surgical team in force in the instition i work. I also have experience on conservative, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthetics, and radiology. What fields have you worked in before? In addition to oral and maxillo facial surgery i also work on conservative, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthetics, and radiology. What qualifications do you hold? I hold a B D S degree ( Bachelor of dental surgery) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I feel formal education are the fundamentals over which one could develop and build his skills on. without one the other is not valuable. Describe the benefits of working with others Knowledge- the key benefit of working in a team. because, i feel i learn more that way, it helps to develop a person amidst different exposures. Knowledge has no end. Learning process continues and achievements are boosts alongside What unique skills do you have? I might stand unique in the way I handle patients. I think i could handle them in the best way the would like. i cant bring the most unco-operative child on the chair with a smiling face, for undergoing the treatment and at the same time be supportive for the elderly who are over anxious about the treatment the would be undergoing. Oral and maxillofacial surgery escpecially tumour rehabilitation and cosmetic corrections What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Surgery on its own is an ocean, in which i would love to get involved in the re creating the beauty the patient would have un fortunately lost due to several factors like road injuries, birth defects and so on.
