Although I have obtained formal education and notwithstanding its implications and significance, nothing compares to experience and skills. Decision making processes are generally formulated based on past encounters and this is extremely valuable in the workplace. Describe the benefits of working with others There are so many attributes to working within a team. Most significant for me are the potential for communication skills to be further developed, the sharing of different ideas and ways of making decisions, the encounter of various cultures and the general “esprit-de-corps” comradeship that can stem. Describe the benefits of working alone For me, working in a solitary mode affords me the ability to maximize my time. There is less communication and interruptions-if I may, so I am better able to execute daily activities. What was your worst working experience? One afternoon an irate gentleman came into our establishment demanding to see the Chairman of the Board (for whom I work). After calming the visitor I tried to ascertain the nature of his issue so that I may bring some temporary relief until he was able to see my Chairman. When the gentleman realized or assumed my age he concluded that I was too young to hear his concerns and left abruptly. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
