Both are valuable, depending on the area of focus. formal education offers the background training that should springboard you to the working environment, but experience and skills helps you to think critically in any situation and assist in the decision making process. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others assist you in gathering new and innovative ideas. It allows you to see different prospectives and can promote teamwork and growth within any department or organization. Working with others gives that sense of cooperation and unity among each other also a degree of oneness and ownership which can lead to dedication and commitment to the organization. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone can offer a level of dedication and commitment because the individual has to prove his/ her worthiness. It allows that individual the opportunity to prove how innovative and creative they can be and can be a means of upward mobility within the company.Note that working alone allows that individual to get all the praises for a job well done. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience was when my co- supervisor reported on me to my supervisor instead of discussing the issue to me. He actually left the area we were working at and went to my sipervisor who later called me about the situation. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt that policies and procedures are important guides to follow, that teamwork in some respect is very important, that persistence does pay off, that their needs to be purpose and you must never lose sight of it, you must set goals and try your best to achieve them and that God is the center of everything and never to forget that. What unique skills do you have? The skill to communicate well - I am a good listener. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job is nursing. Anything I can do in the Nursing profession to improve it, is so satisfying. I want to make a difference and it includes administrative changes, upgrades- financial and professional, improvement in the quality of care and the more recognized and valued profession. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspect in Nursing are the skills and the level of patient care. Theory is very important for one to appreciate the care and skills necessary to do the job properly, but the actual practical execution of the job is far more important. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? In the nursing profession all fields are important. The theory is necessary for an appreciation of the practical which must be executed with a level of competence to preserve life and provide care in cases of need.
