nursiong positionWhat type of job are you looking for? I am a Filipino registered nurse who currently works as a nurse clinical intructor .I am hoping to work as a hospital nurse in Bahamas. I am also willing to go under training if the job calls for it. What nationality are you? I am a Filipino. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Aside from my native tongue, I can speak in Enlgish fluently. I can use English both in speaking and writing. I also have a little background in Spanish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am hoping to work in Bahamas. I wish to work in an enviroment close to my country. What countries have you worked in? I have just worked within my country. What countries do you have a visa to work in? NOne. What field do you currently work in? I am currenlty teaching Nursing professional subjects and supervising studnet- nurses in Emergency room , operating room, Medicine ward and surgery ward. What fields have you worked in before? I had my exposuires in Hospital nurisnga nd community health nursing. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Aside from my 2 year experience in institutional nursing / nursing education, I am currently woking with my last requirement in Masters in Nursing. I also have good communciation and interpersonal skills. I have experience supervising student nurses'organizations and volunteering in various socio-civic activities.Above all , I have the compassion in assisting inidviduals achieve their optimum health. I work not only because of salary but also because of my longingness of helping my fellow men. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others is sometimes challenging yet always fulfilling. Working in a team entails interpersonla and communciation skills. Working as a nurse also gives you an encounter with people from various cultures and walks of life , this makes the profession people-centered. It may be difficult to gain the trust of people at times , but the process of establashing rapport to patients always offer smile to my heart.Working with other people helps me achieve my highest potential and gives me a wonderful opportunity of being able to help them also achieve their full potentials. Describe the benefits of working alone At times working alone is necessary to realize ones' abilties , strengths and mkost of all weaknesses. Being alone makes a person strive harder in order to translate his weakeness into strenghts. It is in being alone when a person also see importance of beleiving in one's self. What was your worst working experience? My worst expereince is working with community people who always depend on others' assistance and fail to develop self-reliance. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? My profession have always reminded me of the basic yet important lessons in life. One of the most important lesson I have learned throughtout my career is the importance of having passion in everything I do . I learn how to be enthusiastic in every effort I do either big or small. What unique skills do you have? I have a great power to lead and convince individuals.In alighter side , I can dance .. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My "dream job"is a job which offer not only a good salary but an enviroment which is conducive for my personal and professional growth. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspect of nursing is its nature of being both a profession and vocation. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least interesting aspect of my profession is that holidays may not be spent with my family. How do you see your self as a nurse woking in a foreign country? I see my self as a global nurse.
