I had a chance to experience two educational systems, totally different from each other- Polish and English system of higher education.I can bravely confirm that the practical approach to many modules at universities in England works for me better than the Polish system equipped with heavy theory in which the only reliable type od assessment is the one practised by teacher for decades. To put it different way, the knowledge that is checked by Polish techers in the exams is based on traditional memorization rather than knowledge which is used in problem solving.
