What type of job are you looking for?
I am looking for a job in Banking industry which has potential to guide the strategies of the bank... the way they work... the way they foresee the future. I am equally exposed to consulting jobs related to Marketing as well as Risk Management in consumer finance area. I provide the consultancy after doing detailed study (using statistics and econometrics) of the data and the insight that's provided by the data is far more powerful than a guess work / one's intuition.

Analytics and consultancy in Banking (consumer finance) sector
What fields have you worked in before?
Throughout my career I have only worked in the Analytics and Consultancy fields only. Apart from banking, I have also worked in CPG and Web Analytics and Consultancy domains.
What qualifications do you hold?
I am a Post Graduate in Economics. I have dome my MBA in Finance and Marketing.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I feel either of these two will become meaningless in isolation. Formal education is important to know the concepts, but without proper skill to implement the same, it all becomes a theory. At the same time, having proper formal education is likely to enhance one's skills. I think these two (formal education and skills) are complementary to each other and not substitutable.

1. Problem solving skills and my capabilities to think to the problem to land into the desired solution. I have demonstrated my unique skills to prioritize the deliverables and deliver them accordingly resulting in the best result to my clients

A job that given me opportunity and freedom to change the future of my organization for good.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
Insights are generated through scientific analysis of the data. Simple (for the client to implement) results are deliverd as a result of some very complex and robust analytical processes followed by us.
What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
My field is really very interesting. The results are not futile, its actually reflected in the bottomline of the business.
