BASE LEVEL INFORMATION INFRASTRUCTURE (BLII) SYSTEMS INTEGRATION ENGINEER, BAHRAINJob Description:
Supports the SPAWAR PEO C4I & Space BLII Program Office. This engineer will be responsible for assisting in the development of migration strategies from legacy to ONE-Net and in the development of deployable solutions between ONE-Net and both IT21 and NMCI. We are looking for someone with 3-4 years of systems engineering experience in integration and interoperability with large networks similar to IT21, NMCI, and ONE-Net, who can act as Principal Technical Advisor and when directed, provide on-site design configurations and systematic baseline to meet configuration requirements.
These FSET positions are located in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the US Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET) / Base Level Information Infrastructure (BLII) effort which is the Navy project to field a common and secure IT infrastructure to all OCONUS Navy locations. ONE-NET modernizes the IT environment at locations servicing forward deployed and support forces and provides information assurance and information security services to everyone on the network.
We are looking for Senior Technical Engineers who posses specific experience in the following areas:
Tivoli Management Environment
Planning the Tivoli Management Environment
Configure Tivoli authorization and authentication through Tivoli administrators, roles and policy regions
Create and execute Tivoli tasks and jobs, and use the Tivoli Scheduler
Tivoli Framework Policy
Tivoli Management Agent: Deployment and Problem Resolution
Configure an interconnection between Tivoli management regions
Tivoli Enterprise Console
Installation of TEC
Use the Web Console
Integration of TEC and NetView
Troubleshoot in IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console 3.8.
Use IBM Tivoli NetView 7.1
Install and configure IBM Tivoli Data Warehouse
Additional experience with UNIX (Solaris), Windows (XP, 200 and 2003) and a strong networking background is desirable.
Must have held a US ‘Secret’ clearance within the last two years.
