What type of job are you looking for?

I'm looking for a teaching position.

What nationality are you?

I'm a Filipino.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak English and my native language.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

In Bahrain, becuase of the better opportunity that it offers to overseas workers.

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked only in the Philippines.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

None yet

What field do you currently work in?

I'm teaching English online to foreign students (particularly Koreans.

What fields have you worked in before?

I have been teaching since 2004. I have taught in a private school for two years and two months. After that, I've been working as an online tutor. I've been in this job for almost 3 years.

What qualifications do you hold?

I'm a degree holder in education and a licensed teacher. I have the passion for this job.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider both very valuable. Some children are born with skills but don't know how to use well the skills they possess, so they need formal education so that there will be guided by thier educators. On the other hand, some children are born with less or no skills. If they go to formal schooling, they can have the training they need to bring out the skills in them.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others can help me improve my interpersonal skills. It can help me know more about their culture. This is also a good opportunity to gain friends.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone can help a person work more efficiently, especially if that person is really accustomed to working alone.

What was your worst working experience?

My worst was when I worked unders sales and marketing department. It's not my kind of job.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I learned how important it is to enjoy what I do no matter how hard it is. Building rapport with my colleagues is also something i learned that is very important. The people I have worked with helped me enjoy my job and face the challenges with pride.

What unique skills do you have?

I know how to draw. I can dance and I can cook. I'm now learning how to play the piano and stenography.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Teaching

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Having fun with children and my colleagues through thick and thin.

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

I consider everything about my job as something noble.
