Full time: Clinical Occupational therapist in a rehabilitation centre in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Part time: Consultant Occupational Therapist in an autistic school in Dhaka, Bangladesh. What fields have you worked in before? Placement Student's supervisor assistant in Bangladesh Health Professions Istitute (BHPI), Dhaka for two months. What qualifications do you hold? BSc (Hon's) in Occupational Therapy Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think formal education in an skilled area is more valuable. Formal education provide oppertunities to student for gaining analytical abilities. In my graduate school, I had to submit a thesis which was very much helpful for me to grow an anylytical band of mind. Describe the benefits of working with others Sharing knowledge and experiences are the most valuable benefits of working with others. We can learn from each others. It helps to cope with a new environment very quickly. Describe the benefits of working alone It helps to achieve individual very smoothly. For example, I work with a client alone, I should not require about what other people are doing with him. What was your worst working experience? I have not got any worst working experiecnes. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Every person is unique and induvidual. Problems of a persons will not be matched completely with another one. What unique skills do you have? I can enter in my client's heart very easily. I patiently listen their points and I can provide aduquate feedback. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I want to be a manager of a rehabilitation centre where all types of the people with disability can get proper services. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I can work with my clients holisticly. I provide treatment for improving their impairment, I educate them to cope with disability, and I demonstrate them how compensate with their environment (environment or equipment modifications) What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I enjoy all aspect of Occupational Therapy, but sometime people want medicine from us but I have to refer them. It is the least interesting aspects of my field.
