Actually, it is a very good idea to be able to brain storm with your peers in finding not just a solution to the problem, but the best solution to the problem or problems. Also, it puts everyone on the same page once agreed upon. Describe the benefits of working alone You know what you have to do. Nobody bothers you. If things go wrong, there is no one to blame but yourself. When done, you can feel the accomplishment and the difference you made. Bragging rights, of course! What was your worst working experience? Working with fools as managers. Don't comprehend, can't envision, put people at risk, and are nothing but trouble in the construct of things. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I learned 2 lessons actually. When in a management position, hire people who are knowledgeable, and loyal. I made the mistake once of hiring friends, Romans, and countrymen. I had to fire them all and start over. I learned that lesson well. Second lesson is: Treat your customers with respect and fairness. If you provide a fair deal, they will always call on you. This applies to education, business, government, and any others utilizing your services. What unique skills do you have? I have a gift of gab. I am technology minded. I am results oriented. I get along well with people in all walks of life. I have vision. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? What are the most interesting aspects of your field? You impart knowledge to others. A little piece of you lives on in those you have taught, helped, or assisted. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The propensity of change scares many people. This inhibits learning. People do not want to change for the better even if the old ways work poorly. Communication, training, and some hand holding can solve this in little time. Please replace this with a question of your own. What makes you think you are good at what you do? I am a problem solver. I have worked for various companies, and government entities as a technologist to solve their problems. I am challenge driven. No challenge is too small or too large to make a difference. I have been employed pretty much since 1971, occasionally stopping for some college time. How can potential employers contact you?
