What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a job where I can work with an environmental organization and or a teaching position as an Integrated Science or Biology teacher.

What nationality are you?

Belizean

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

The languages that I speak are English,Spanish,Mopan Maya and Ketchi Maya.My First Language is Mopan Maya and the other languages I have learnt as i was growing up as a kid.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking to work in the country of Belize and to be more specific in Belmopan City or Punta Gorda Town because I have a place to stay in these areas.

What countries have you worked in?

I haven't worked in any other country before and this is the first time I am looking for a job.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Belize

What fields have you worked in before?

I have taught for 5 weeks at a high school located in Belmopan, Belize.

What qualifications do you hold?

The qualifications that I hold now is an Associates Degree in Biology and Marine Science which I obtained in Belmopan at the University of Belize.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I would consider formal education more valuable because with formal education you obtain knowledge, skills, mind, and character in a structured and certified program.

Describe the benefits of working with others

The benefits of working with others is that you get to know other culture, you get more experience from others and when you don't know something they can help you with it.You can also encourage each other and develop a bond, cultivate a friendship and you can learn to work with each other.

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits of working alone is that you can do things the way you would like it to be done and sometimes when other teammate tell you what to do and the outcome is not okay you would want to blame the other so it is best to work alone.

What was your worst working experience?

Well I haven't had much experience in jobs except for the teaching I did and I was so nervous for the first time but I did my best and that was the worst part for me since I was nervous.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Well I haven't had any real job before so I don't really have a right answer for this question.

What unique skills do you have?

Well I guess I am very friendly and it is hard for me to get angry and I love doing whatever I am doing to the best of my ability.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

I would consider working with an organization which deals with the environment as my dream job.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Well the most interesting aspects of my field is that new things can be found or explored.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The least interesting aspects of my field is that at times it is very boring to do whatever there is to be done and that not much people find interest in it.

Do you think experience play a major role in finding a job?

Having experience is good but it would be best that experiences be given in schools because if it is the first time I am looking for a job and don't have experience it would be hard to get a job than a person who has experience.
