I am looking for a job
Data Entry /cashier/ Teaching/Front desk What nationality are you? Belizean What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am Looking for a job in Belize city or within the city limits, because i will be attending night classes at S.J.C.J.C sixth form in january 2011 . Anything secretarial or in an office as i have experience in that field. Teaching i also have experience in that field as well. What countries have you worked in? Belize only What field do you currently work in? presently i work from home i type business letters , and do some filing for a friend of mine that has his own business What fields have you worked in before? Teaching, secretarial What qualifications do you hold? I hold a high school diploma and is presently pursuing an associates degree. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I believe that both are important because we have two types of peolpe, book smart those are the ones in the office places, and we have the ones who has to learn a skill like for example a plumer, carpenter etc. we all have to eat. Describe the benefits of working with others When working with other you gain and give knowledge, learn how to be a team player. Describe the benefits of working alone working alone help to make you more dependable on yourself,it also helps you to become more orginazed,and it also teaches you to work under pressure. What was your worst working experience? My worst experience was when i was at my last job, a young kady was there before me but she was going off to have a baby,I did not have my deploma at that time i was still attending school but the work i was doing i did it before so i had experience. she talk to me when she wanted and it was only us two working in this office.she felt i was there to take her job. Then i found out the boss wanted to fire her i mean i was caught in the middle of crazyness. the boss was not profesional at all when she went off i got a pay raise for my hard work. but i could not stay there it was crazy she woul call and talk to the work men and not to me to check up on how things was going. then the boss wanted to fire her while she was on leave and talking about her work ehtics to me, that was wrong at the end of the day i resign from my job i new this was not the place for me , because the same way he tried to get rid of her when he wants to replace me he would do the same to me. So i decided to put my all into school to get my papers so nobody will have to do any favors for me, and apart of me resign so she could get her job back, she had her first child and depended on the job to pay her rent. my friend that has his own business gave me a job offer to just type business letters and do some filing for him. I did this from my house on my computer and he paid me a weekly salary.and i had help with my kids from there dad. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? that the only way a business can function and be successful is if both workers and boss's are on the same page. What unique skills do you have? To be cam under pressure What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To own my own cleaning business.
