Formal education or skills and why? a combination of both is a good asset, but I personally put more weight in experience that develops skill. A real skillset is only valid if an individual can actually put their skills to use. If that individual can prove that they are competant beyond their competition in whatever field they have chosen, this will breed success., Describe the benefits of working with others Training! you can both learn and teach when working with others. There is also a factor of encouragement that can be exchanged in a team atmoshphere that will not be apparent in a solitary environment. Describe the benefits of working alone A more focussed work environment that can sometimes yeild more efficient progress on a familiar task. What was your worst working experience? My most regrettable work experience was early in my business career when I accepted a project that I was not ready to accomplish. The work was not up to the expectation of my client, and that lowered their confidence in my company's ability. I did not enjoy that feeling at all. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Listen first, before you think about anything else. Find out what is important to your client, then concentrate on that aspect of your communication with them. Do not go into an encounter with everything all planned out and become inflexible. Remember where your cheque is comming from and figure out what is important to the one providing that funding. That will help you to build stronger relationships with your clientele. What unique skills do you have? I have a well versed and practical skill set. I am also very coacheable. Along with experience and creativity, I believe that a proper plan of attack on any project will result in success. I have an extesive marketing background with well trained and formally educated interpersonal skills. I have great communication skills as well as a desire to sell. I can also accomplish all of this in two languages, english and french. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? a public relations position, or in a marketing position that allows for some autonomy. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I love the marketing aspect of my company. I believe that good marketing and clientele services provide success. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? paper work/accounting. |
