primary educationWhat type of job are you looking for? I am seeking a teaching position in primary education. What nationality are you? I am American. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak english and mimimal spanish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I would like to teach in Belize. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in America. What field do you currently work in? I currently teach kindergarten. What fields have you worked in before? I have taught preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, second grade and fourth grade. In America, that is children three years through ten years. What qualifications do you hold? I hold a bachelor of science degree in education, as well as, a masters degree in early childhood. Additionally, I hold certification for teaching birth through eighth grade. Twice I have been nominated for teacher of the year in our school district. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I have raised five of own children and have taught hundreds of school-age children to read and write english. I have been formally educated in the area of education, particularly early childhood. Describe the benefits of working with others I find working with others to be beneficial as the sharing of ideas makes one wiser. As a teacher, one is never alone. What unique skills do you have? I am organized, precise, energetic, enthusiatic and I thoroughly enjoy teaching. My talent is teaching! What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The best part of teaching young children is opening their world by teaching them to read and write. The skills of reading and writing can take them most anywhere they care to go.
