Looking for a medical job in Bermuda starting September 2009

I am currently a GP registrar in England and am just comming to the end of my specialist training. I am hoping to relocate to Bermuda by Fall 2009, along with my husband, who is a Tax Lawyer and my 2 children. I would like to work as a GP but could also work in hospital in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics or Psychiatry but not as a consultant. By the time I finish my training I will have been awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training and will have the nMRCGP exam. I will be very grateful to anyone that could provide me with information on how to go about this.

Hi

Just saw your posting. I'm an English Clinical Psychologist in Bermuda. If you are interested in working for Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) - the are main healthcare provider on the island - you should contact Dr. Thomas, Chief of Staff, at King Edward Memorial Hospital or Dr Sarathchandra, Chief of Psychiatry at Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute. You will be able to contact them via the BHB website. There are definitely psychiatric resident posts coming up, and they are also usually looking for 'internists' i.e. generic hospital registrars. If you want to get more specific information about the psychiatric side you can email my husband (a Consultant Psychiatrist for BHB) at farquhar.grant @bermudahospitals.bm
