Agnel Institute Of Catering. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills, because only educational knowledge wouldn't always help us in practical. Describe the benefits of working with others When you're working on a team with others, you can encourage one another. You can develop a bond, cultivate a friendship. You can learn how to depend on each other, learn the art of cooperation. You can, potentially, do less while achieving the same standard of work because the other teammates are there to help contribute to the goal. Describe the benefits of working alone I think it depends on the type of work and your personality. If you're the type that needs to be around people being alone would be torture. They would be bored and wouldn't be able to concentrate. Some work better in a competing atmosphere. What was your worst working experience? Nothing till date. I always mastered my job. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I mixed friendship with work and it costed me a lot. Never ever will I lend money to my fellow colleagues, this affects work and later results in enmity. What unique skills do you have? I am good in handling objections. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A job that would give me a scope earning well and thus help me achieve my goals. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Hospitality management involves the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of human and material resources within the lodging, restaurant, travel and tourism, institutional management, recreational management and meeting and convention planning industries. All of these separate yet related segments of the hospitality industry are interrelated to deliver kind and generous services to guests. All you have to do is be humble and polite during your job. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I consider a genuine smile as very hospitable. Beyond that, it's negotiable. If you're asking about the hospitality industry, you can look at some of the challenges facing them and this will tell you what they really need/want in employees. It sometimes becomes tough to handle but we have to tackle the problems skillfully. What kind of working environment would you prefer?
