Formal education and training in my estimation is to be highly valued. I believe that formal education and certification is one of the tools to opportunities and career success. However, skills training must not be discounted because those individuals around us who are not academically inclined sometimes do well in other areas of endeavors. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt that patience is one of the key qualities to a successful teaching career and that a teacher should not easily give up on students or prejudge how students might perform in a course or on an exam. What unique skills do you have? The ability to get students to understand, even the most difficult concepts by simplification. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Lecturing What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Interacting with people on a day to day basis and passing on knowledge What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
