Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer 2007- Till date (Government of Meghalaya. INDIA)
• Medicated mostly large animals suffering from various diseases. (I.e. Bovine, Caprire, Ovine, Porcine, Avian etc.)
• Conducting minor surgeries in field condition (i.e. Castration, incising and suturing open wounds etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills demonstrated by providing projects and schemes for farmer and private entrepreneurs. Also conducting training programme for Para-Veterinary staff as refreshers courses on latest techniques on handling of liquid nitrogen for the preservation of Frozen semen and Artificial Insemination in Cattle also various Modern methods of restraining and treatment of Domesticated animals.
• Conducting vaccination/ Immunization programs for domestic animals in around my area of responsibility. (i.e. FMD, HS & BQ, SF, RD, Rabies etc.)
Also inchrage of Bull station in Shillong, bulls meant for semen collection. Involved in processing of Frozen semen of HF and Jersy at the Central Semen labrotary. Dually incharge of liquid Nitrogen plant, LN2 meant for preserving Semen Straws.

• Mostly treatment of ship of the desert (camel) which were used by the security forces along the Indo-Pakistan Border for patrolling, transportation of food, manpower etc.
• Regular Immunization/Vaccination of camels against Trypanosomiasis (i.e. Triquin injection)
• Also treatment of border guard and sniffer dogs. (i.e. Labradors, German Shepherds)
• Proper and regular immunization of these dogs (i.e. Parvo, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Rabies etc.)
Veterinary Assistant Surgeon 1998-2003 (Government of Meghalaya. INDIA.)
• Handling Independently a State Veterinary Dispensary
• Gained wide range of experience in tackling various acute, chronic, contagious, infectious diseases in various large and small animals by trying to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment under field conditions.
• Could take adequate control measures in my jurisdiction of certain of specific diseases (i.e. FMD, HS & BQ, RD, SF, Rabies etc) through proper vaccination/Immunization of the animals.

What was your worst working experience?
while in Military,going for treatment in Pakistan border for a sick camel, had to encounter cross-firing from across the border.

To be the Professional admistrator of a well equiped Veterinary Hospital.
