teaching English in Bosnia or NGO job

What type of job are you looking for?

I am planning to move to Bosnia later this year. I would like a job within human rights...or I'd be willing to teach english.

What nationality are you?

Bosnian-American

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English and Bosnian. i speak Bosnian at an intermediate level.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina. I love Sarajevo and friends and family over there. It would be nice to be close to them.

What countries have you worked in?

America. Teaching in the early childhood field.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I've worked in America

What field do you currently work in?

Child care...early childhood education field.

What fields have you worked in before?

Some retail. Mostly early childhood. I did intern at the red Cross for 2 years as a college student. My interest is working in the human rights field.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have a Bachelor's degree in International studies.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I believe skills are more important. A person can have all the education they want, but if they can't or won't utilize what they have learned it doesn't even matter.

Describe the benefits of working with others

What I like about working with others is the feeling of being apart of a team and being on the same page of what it is that we as a group wish to accomplish.

Describe the benefits of working alone

I feel the benefits of working alone is being able to get things done more quickly and efficiently. Sometimes when you work in a group things don't get done right away because everyone has a different idea of how something should get done. When that happens you need to talk things and consider everyone's input. That takes awhile.

What was your worst working experience?

Any job where my hard work is not being appreciated.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

No matter what happens you just need to go on and never give up.

What unique skills do you have?

I'm a theatre major...with a change of heart. I act and I like to sing. However, I have a bigger heart for human rights. While I may still love performing, if I had to give it up for a human rights job.. I would.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Probably, a job in the human rights field. The kind of job where people benefit simply because of the work I do. I know this sounds cliche but I want to make the world a better place. I want that to be my legacy. Whose life is better for me being in the world?

What job would you never do?

I couldn't see myself working in a restaurant, or in a bar. I wouldn't work in a bank. I know what I can do and what I can't do based on experience.

Please replace this with a question of your own

What do you feel is the best quality of your company?

How can potential employers contact you?

Please contact me by email. That is the easiest way. My email is dramagirl073@yahoo.com I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you. Lejla Kekic
