South Africa What field do you currently work in? I am a recent tertiary school leaver from Gaborone Institute of Professional Studies college. What fields have you worked in before? Not yet have experienced the world of work,but have a great passion for IT technician and Networking field. What qualifications do you hold? Botswana Junior Certificate Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education(BGCSE) Cambridge Tertiary:International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies(NCC Qualification) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education Because It gave me a vast broad experience in the IT field,in which i gained experience in computer hardware maintenance(A + Qualifacation,Web Design(Using web authoring tools like Adobe Dream Weaver),System Analysis skills,Internet Security skills.typing skills,computer operator skills just to mention a few. I had also a good relationships between lecturers and students through making presentations which help build my confidence infront of audience. Describe the benefits of working with others working with us helps to build up a strong chain of social network and good interpersonal relationships with one's social community. It helps people to work together as a team thereby achieving a common goal set. It helps people to come close,understanding others better,resolving conflicts and help managers/team leaders easily manage and make appropriate decisions thereby boosting up business value. My dream is to work as a systems administrator monitoring network sysrem performance,attending to network security breaches,and analysing the system as a whole and implementing new system changes if there is a need What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Interacting more with clients in assisting them in network solutions,analyzing systems and user support What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Clients or business community may sometimes not collaborating well in finding a complex solution to their problems at hand. What are your expectations at the field of yours?
