Research / Community based jobs with Non Govermental organizations of Medical Officer job with interested Government owned facilities

What nationality are you?

Nigerian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English, fluently and presentle a beginner student in a french class.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Botswana, to provide home away from home experience for me beside what I red in African History and Geography of Southern Africa.

What countries have you worked in?

Principally Nigeria. Benin Republic for Medical outreaches.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Botswana and South Africa.

What field do you currently work in?

General Medical Practice and NGO Medical programmes and Research

What fields have you worked in before?

Medical, Clinical Researches and community based NGO Hummanitarian programmes

What qualifications do you hold?

MBBS, MPH with International Certificates and Diplomas in Continuing Medical Education including: -African Malaria Network (AMANET) Certificates in Basic and Advanced Health Research Ethics - World Medical Association Diploma in Fundamentals of Medical Ethics - World Medical Association Certificate in Modern Treatment of Multi-Drug Resistance Tuberculosis (mdr-tb) Holoway University of London International Convetion Good Clinical Practice

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both because they are complimentary.Formal education makes skill acquicision a lot easier.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Team work provides opportunity to draw strenght from other people, share knowledge, skills and lern new things. It builds confidence and make jobs easier

Describe the benefits of working alone

Distractions are avoided, full responsibility is taken for assigned tasks, same for rewards.

What was your worst working experience?

Losing some patients to avoidable circumstances especially equipments to work with and poverty

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Sense in team work and personal integrity

What unique skills do you have?

Leadreship

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

International NGO Medical career

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Project management, monitoring and evaluation

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Occassional dull moments
