a general nursing job

Kenyan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

english(fluently as it is my national language) kiswahili(also quite fluent as it is my second national language) kikuyu as it is my mother tongue

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Botswana i would like to experience the rich heritage and culture of the people of south africa(BOTSWANA)as well as explore their health (nursing) sector thus broadening my nursing skills and knowledge.

nursing

What qualifications do you hold?

a diploma in nursing(KENYA REGISTERED COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE)

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

SKILLS as you get to acquire an immense wealth of experience which is valuable in my line of work thus you deliver good results .

Describe the benefits of working with others

co-existance is established hence bettering one's skills as you acquire fresh ideas from your workmates,one also adapts the culture af looking out for each other thus making the working enviroment worth living in.

Describe the benefits of working alone

non-conflicting working enviroment is established hence peace and tranquility is attained thus good results.

What was your worst working experience?

my boss humiliated me in the presence of my patients and colleagues and that lowered my self esteem .All these was as a result of living out a minor detail in my line of work and i still don't think that it deserved such harsh punishment.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

hardwork,optimism and patience pays off.

What unique skills do you have?

shedding a ray of hope to people who feel undignified .

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

C.E.O of a prestigious institution.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

the fact that i am able to take care of unwell persons until they are back on their feet again just gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction and is indeed the highlight of my career.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

what is the biggest downside of my career?
