What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Very fluent English and Shona, can understand fairly Ndebele. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? In Botswana, Gaborone and in Private Hospitals though I am open to any job offer. I would like to work in Gaborone because I know I will have access to the University where I look forward to further study and also will be guaranteed internet access which is vital for me to keep myself abreast with research findings regards to the medical field. Adult, medical/surgical, Paediatrics,Out Patients, Accident&Emergency, Pre/Post Natal& Labour ward, Theatre,Nursing Homes. What qualifications do you hold? Diploma in General Nursing. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider formal education more valuable because without the know-how the theory, one may not be able to effectively execute the neccessary skill required for a particular task. It is not everyone who is born with a caring skill, some people may have to learn the skills required hence the need for formal education. Describe the benefits of working with others One will learn how to work in a team thereby effectively and efficiently delivering the best service. One will also learn some skills from others improving themselves as they work together. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone teaches discipline, planning and encourages one to focus on the responsibilities set. One will also learn effective time management. What was your worst working experience? Having to break death news to families. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? It is good to love and care for each other beacause one doesn't always know when they will need someone to help them with simple daily routine. What unique skills do you have? I am a good listener and am very compassionate. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Running a children's hospital. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Seeing patients recover fully. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Having to treat somebody over and over again with slow or no response to treatment.
