full time medicine (part time haematology)

What fields have you worked in before?

surgery,haematology ,geriatrics

What qualifications do you hold?

diploma (RGN), certificate in palliative care, certificate in first line management,currently studing for a certificate in principals and management of cytotoxic chemotherapy

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

skills are more practical.formal education is a requirement depending on your circumstances.only parts of it is used in later life.As life is a continous learning expereince and built upon from your formal education.

share knowledge, expereince, team work and inter personal relationships.

develop self confidence,accountability and being autonomous in my work

What was your worst working experience?

Iobserved my manager confrontind a junior nurse infront of other members of staff and patients . I found this to be very unproffessional and I was embarrased for her.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Do to others as you would like them to do

communication skills, working in a multi-disciplinary team ,good leadership skills.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

working as a chemotherapy nurse

Working with my colleagues, caring for my patients, and having a job certisifaction.

Poor staffing levels,
