I am interested in working anyway in my country (Botswana) and travel in and outside South Africa, because currently i have a baby boy who is under my care What countries have you worked in? I have worked in Botswana only What countries do you have a visa to work in? Currently i have no visa as our old Botswana passport are visad already What field do you currently work in? Currently i am doing partime jobs, Capentry where are fit kitchen cabinets for people and at times i do taxi/combi driving in town What fields have you worked in before? I have worked as a capenter and driver/messenger What qualifications do you hold? I am holding Trade C and B in Capentry and Joinery Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I value skills because if you are skilled you can do job even if you dont have certificate for that jobs Describe the benefits of working with others If you work with other people you get to know behavior of different people and come to know that we are not alike, also you learn new staff from people everyday.Also if you work with people yiu are ensured that the job is done even if you are not at work with valid reasons Describe the benefits of working alone With working alone you get dependent, you learn to be faster because in your mind you know that there is noone to do the job if you leave it, unlike when you are with others. Also you schedule your target date well What was your worst working experience? It was when i worked for one company as a driver/messenger and i brought my capentry & joinery certificate and references, and the knew that i am a qualified capenter. i did both jobs of capenter together with driver/messenger and they told me that they cant pay me for the capentry jobs i did becuse i am their employer. the worst part of it was when they employ casual capenter from outside when my schedule was tight an dthey pay him almost my monthly salary for the job i used to do for free What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned that communication and cooperation is important when you work with people What unique skills do you have? I can work under minimal supervision, integruty and trust and good communication skills What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My wish is to further studies an d one day be a Capentry lecturer What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting part in my field of capentry is when you get to know people, you go around working in different villages, different homes and you geet to know life style of Batswana, and with driver you know people well and you get more experienced with handling behavior of people What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
