Have been teaching Agricultuter and biology in gouvernment teacher training colleges and secondary schools, curretly in Nairobi school(Formerly prince of wales school) What fields have you worked in before? Teaching, Authouring Agricultural text books for macmillan publishers kenya ltd, Marking national exams Under Kenya national Examination council, growing of Mangoe trees in my own village(2211) trees of export varieties. What qualifications do you hold? Bsc: Agricultural Education & Extension, from Egerton University Kenya, Diploma in sales & Marketing part (1 & 2), Kenya polytechnic University college, C P A sections (1 & 2), ie Certified public Accoutant through strathmore college, today strathmore university,A-level 3 principals passes in pure sciences, O-level division 1 of 15 points. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? skills because of the abilty to do, ie being practical not theoretical. Describe the benefits of working with others One learns from others and they also learn from you and end up buiding a team spirit. Describe the benefits of working alone One is able to set own targets and standards which will not be failed due to failures by other parties. What was your worst working experience? when students,their parents do not appreciate the good results produced nationaly. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Teaching is a Noble profession. What unique skills do you have? strong communication, socialising and team bulding skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To become a professor in Agricultural research. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The number of professionals who were my students in different fields eg, Medical doctors, Lawyers, etc. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Poor remuneration.
