What type of job are you looking for?

a job that involves teaching English lsnguage and literature.

What nationality are you?

i am a ugandan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English (Excellent), French and Latin ( very low)

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

The unemployment rate for graduate teachers here is well over 30%.Anywhwre in Africa and canda;as long as there are good prospects.

What countries have you worked in?

uganda

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

East africa-uganda, kenya and Tanzania

What fields have you worked in before?

Education and media; teaching and freelance journalism

What qualifications do you hold?

BA.Education-Literature & English, MA.literature in English.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

both compliment but skills take the lead- clear communication, motivation of sub ordinates , learners and so on;and then delegation of powers.

Describe the benefits of working with others

team work spirit and interpaersonal skills are developed.

Describe the benefits of working alone

working alone maens that one is silely to blame if anything bad hapens and so it gives an opportunity to test how creative and innovative one can be.

What was your worst working experience?

working in schools where the teachers ans students are not inetersted in results

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

getting results involves hard work, commitment and dedication and it takes long-long before money comes into the picture

What unique skills do you have?

i am hard working, prolific and result oriented. i also have the capacity to get along with all sorts of students -especially the disruptive ones.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

teaching at Literature in English at university level.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

dealing with students involves sharing the knowlwdge you have, and it is fun to see them learn from you.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

i love my proffesiion
