What country or area are you looking to work in and why?
I am looking forward to work in Botswana. I is a country which is closer to my country. English is their second language so I will not have problems in communicating. Again I do not have a VISA so that I can go and work in South Africa.
What countries have you worked in?
I only worked in Zimbabwe.
What field do you currently work in?
I am a two way radio communication technician currently working for a Non-governmental organisation namely Care International in Zimbabwe.
What fields have you worked in before?
I have worked under a branch of United Nations (World Food Programme) as a Radio operator/ IT Assistant in Zimbabwe. I also worked for Zimbabwe Republic Police for 16 years as a two way radio technician. I was working with both UHF,VHF and HF radios. I also specialised in the installation and repair of repeaters.
What qualifications do you hold?
I am a holder of an advanced diploma in telecommunications and electronics engineering (level 4), National certificate in computer servicing and national certificate in Instrumentation and Control
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I consider skills more than formal educational because at work, it is a skill which counts more that formal education.

Talents vary from person to person. So interaction enables people to share ideas, experience and skills. It also enhances on the job training of staff.
Describe the benefits of working alone
Working alone keeps a worker focused to work. There are no chances of playing at work. This result with increased production at work
What was your worst working experience?
My worst working experience was the time I was employed by Care International. I had no tools issued to me. Very few spares were supplied to me. The procurement process was so bureaucratic. Too much time was taken to buy spares. Work was too stressful.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
Motivation of staff is very important for an organisation to attain maximum production.
What unique skills do you have?
I can repair any electronic gadget to component level.
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
Work as a telecommunication technician in an industry which considers telecommunication as its core area.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
My field of work demands someone who has adequate training and experience. This makes life easier to a worker. Most workers take too long to repair very easy faults.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
It is too stressful. I am in charge if radio operators. If one of them becomes ill, I am supposed to relieve him. This results with stations having radio faults blaming me for failing to attend to the faults in time.

Yes I am married with two children.
