What type of job are you looking for?

manager or promotions manager for a club bar restaurant

What nationality are you?

Canadian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English Speaker Japanese Intermediate French Beginner Portuguese currently studying

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Brazil Sao paulo because I plan to move there next year. Just got married to a Brazilian national.

What countries have you worked in?

Canada, Australia, and Japan

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Japan and Canada. I have a 4 year tourist visa for Brazil but will change to marriage visa. Have obtained a CPF card

What field do you currently work in?

I am General Manager for a chain of popular night clubs in Japan.

What fields have you worked in before?

Fitness, Teaching ENGLISH, LABORER, NURSING, CHILD CARE, LAND SCAPING,AND HOSPITALITY. ALSO CORRECTIONS

What qualifications do you hold?

FIRST AID EXTENSIVE COURSE, JAPANESE LANGUAGE, CHILD TECHING CERTIFICATE, CORRECTIONAL OFFICER CERTIFICATE, MIXOLOGY,I HAVE WORKED IN THE HOSPITALITY Industry for 15 years.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Combination of both but hands on experience very important. You can't learn everything from formal education and skills get a lot of tasks done.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others as a team is great to create a good working enviromnet and helps get the job done eficiently. Having a lot of different skills combined into one job works well.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Sometimes working alone you do your ultimate best to produce your finest job. Concentration is at it's best as well.

What was your worst working experience?

Working for a boss that did not care for his team only for his self.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Hard work, friendly atidude, and flexability goes a lonfg way.

What unique skills do you have?

I have a very high tolerence to cope with all sorts of situations and people. I work hard at what I do and hold great stamina to do the hours to succeed and get the job done.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Running a chain of beach bar restaurants and eventially owning one.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Getting to meet different people everyday and learn of theire jobs and experiences.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The quiet times when it is not busy. I love to be busy.
