Information System Business Process Support (SAP) We are looking for an Information System Business Process Support to work on a permanent position in Salvador de Bahía. Candidate will be contracted directly by the client which is one of the biggest multinational industrial company worldwide.1. Job description a. The person will be the in the Information System (IS) department in Brazil. b. This department is centralised in Spain. All technical decisions and developments are done there. c. The local activities in Brazil will be focused in providing end users support in the industrial process (SAP and other web development application). Therefore it is key to have experience in SAP as final user –neither SAP developer nor SAP customizer-. SAP experience is required. Not possible other ERP’s knowledge. d. Hierarchically the position will be depending on the local Brazil structure and functionally on the Central IT organization. e. Main activity area: i. Information Systems Business processes support: 1. User support: SAP business process issue management, clarifying and identifying user problems and coordinating with Central IT Organization in order to solve it 2. Analyze business process situation in order to set business requirements to be developed by IT applications 3. Project support: participate and collaborate in the applications implementation for Brazil as part of the local team (application testing, user training, data gathering and preparation, go-live support…) f. Education: i. Ideal candidate must be a Industrial Engineering, or Engineering ii. Fluent English (spoken and written) g. Professional experience i. At least 5 years experience in a multinational industrial company or in a consulting company ii. Business process support (industrial processes) – Mandatory. The candidate must have been involved in how the information flows in SAP is handled in a industrial company, being familiar with the transactions and the processes that these transactions support. h. Skills: i. SAP knowledge as user (not customizer): material management and production management required. Planning, sales and distribution preferable but not key. ii. Product lifecycle development application user knowledge recommended iii. Communication: with clients, with peers, with the Central IS team iv. Client Service culture (used to support or deal with clients, keeping them satisfied) v. Ability to work with standards and mandates decided centrally from the Corporation 2. Day-to-day activities of the position a. Support possible troubleshooting that the SAP users could have (creating purchase orders inter-company, updating master data information, creating & closing manufacturing orders, creating INCs, dealing with inventory movements in SAP…) b. Identify if the user problem is lack of experience and more training is required c. Understanding who in the organization could provide support to possible SAP or other applications issues. |
