I work in telecommunications for 30 years.
What qualifications do you hold?
Degree from Catholica University of Rio de Janeiro, and several pos-gruation courses at UCLA - California. I worked in design, management, implementations of data networks in Brazil, Nigeria, Japan, and USA.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
Both. Formal education gives you the opportunity to learn how to learn by yourself when you face the need to an equipment and/or situations in the job. Skills are very important for you to be able to manage and provide guidance in the field.

All jobs involve inter-relationships among all to produce good results. Atitute, listening, understanding the issues are crucial items to accomplish goals.

Sometimes we do need some time to learn, search, research, and come with ideas, diagrams, plans, for farther feedbacks from peers, above and below your position.
What was your worst working experience?
I do not recall any terrible situation, but when I have to face an authoritative person, mainly if the person does not listen it becomes a bad work experience.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
Listen first, come with a solution that best satisfies economical aspects, reliability and functionality.
What unique skills do you have?
I can understand complex networks, manage, provide cost analyses, network implementation guidance, positive attitude towards company goals.
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
To work with honest people, and produce great results.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
Without networks it is impossible to communicate in all aspects of our society, person to person, person to machine, machine to machine.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
When people do not communicate well.

A position in Sao Paulo, where I can participate in a positive manner to the goals of the company. In the area of management, implementation, search in best solutions, and it might be related to marketing.
