Senior Fund Administration or related type work or KYC/AML compliance area. Any position related to the client services related work would be of interest, as I do have a vast experience in that area.

I am Bermudian, however, I do hold a valid British passport.

I am looking to work in Tortola, or any area which handles hedge funds, as I am trying to continually extend my knowledge where the opportunity is available.

I have worked in Bermuda and currently in Cayman Islands for the last 2yrs.

Due to being a British Territory citizen, I do not require a visa to work in the any countries that I would be interested in relocating to work.

What fields have you worked in before?
I have worked in import/export - Bacardi Bermuda Headquarters, as an Administrator (10yrs), e-Commerce (2 USA) companies which were based in Bermuda and more recently the last (7yrs) in hedge funds.
What qualifications do you hold?
I hold an (ICA) Diploma in Compliance 2007 and vast experience in the client relations area.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I feel both are valuable, as the formal education gives you the understanding of the skills you will develop in the future.
Although, in some circumstances you may not be able to actually afford the higher education, but that does not mean you cannot develop and master the skills required for a specific job.

The benefit of working with others assist int eh development of team work, showing that it takes more than just one person to produce quality service.

Working alone also benefits in that time is quality and not so much of quantity as the end result.
What was your worst working experience?
Releasing statements to a client which were not given final approval by the Investment Manager.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
Aim for your goals in life and reach for your dreams. You are never too old to learn and further your skills.
What unique skills do you have?
Client relation skills with ability and knowledge of handling irrate, frustrated clients and resolving issues that regain the confidence of the client.
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
Working for a strong company in handling research and heading a small team of workers in the compliance field, with an aim assist in preventing fraud/Anti-money laundering from getting into that company.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
Completing KYC/AML on investors, being able to meet deadlines in the required period and feeling like I did make a difference in answering any client queries.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
Scanning and filing which I currently is the administrators responsiblility, which I feel could be handled by a more junior person, which would free your own time for more productive issues in your portfolio.
Why am I taking the time to complete this document?
In order to expand my network in my hunt for employment in an area I am keenly interested and in another island that is known for it's offshore funds.
